A Pre-Test Driving Assessment gives you an honest, independent assessment of your current driving and identifies any areas that could let you down on test day.
Rather than simply practising a test route, the focus is on whether your driving is safe, consistent and at the standard expected for your licence test.
During the assessment we’ll look at areas including:
- Observation and mirror use
- Speed management
- Following distance and positioning
- Intersections and roundabouts
- Gap selection
- Signalling
- Hazard recognition and response
- Vehicle control
- Decision making and overall driving consistency
At the end of the drive, you’ll receive clear feedback on what you’re doing well, what still needs work, and whether further training would be worthwhile before sitting your test.
The aim isn’t to guarantee a pass — it’s to help you arrive at your test properly prepared and confident in your driving.
